◆ What This Is
This binder is a journal for the stuff you already do — homework, school, taking care of yourself. Every mission you finish earns XP — like points in a game. You do missions, you bank XP, you cash it out for rewards you pick.
◆ What XP Means
▸You bank XP for effort, not just finishing. Tried hard and ran out of time? That still counts.
▸You count your own XP. You know what it's worth.
▸You decide when to cash it out. Save up for something big, or spend it on something small. Your call.
▸You can't lose XP. Banked is banked.
◆ Each Night · The Debrief
Each night you and your Commander — the adult who runs this with you — sit down for 5 minutes. A few questions. You answer. Fist bump. Done. That's the whole deal. The first week they'll ask the questions. After that, you'll take the lead. You're running the system — they're the witness.
◆ The Rules That Protect You
01No one grades you. Ever. This isn't a test.
02You count your own XP — even if you get the math wrong. Your count wins.
03Miss a day? Don't fix it. Just start again tomorrow. Same rule for your Commander — they'll miss nights too. It's fine.
04This binder is yours. Nobody reads it without asking you first.
◆ Tonight · Your First Mission
Flip to the Debrief tab. Pull out a page. Your Commander will ask you five questions. Answer them — whatever you want, however short. Fist bump. Done. That's Night 1. You've started.
I've got this.
The binder is mine. The XP is mine. Let's go.
